Last night, my aunt and I stayed up late watching American-dubbed-in-German, movies on TV. First of all, I have come to realized that I appreciate English movies so much more when I watch it in German. The first movie I saw in German (also here in Munich, 5 years ago) was Notting Hill. I saw Notting Hill before that and I hated it!!! Then I watched in German and I loved it! I did not understand a word but I loved it. The past two nights, I've been watching movies dubbed in German and I've really enjoyed it. I don't know why??!!! Are some movies just so horribly written that you can enjoy them without knowing exactly what's going on? Or am I just a weirdo and enjoy listening to people speak a language I don't understand??? Probably both...who knows??!!!
But I digress. The point of this post is that while watching the movies, I saw something nightmarish. Just like in the States, German channels start to air 1-800 type ads after a certain time late at night. The only difference is that here, they really show nudity in the ads! I mean girls with their boobies and asses and whatnot, and I can only assume they are telling people to call a number . Thankfully, they don't show their va jay jays!
Anyway, all of a sudden the ad shows a shot of a grandma showing her huge hooters!! I am not kidding you! She was this old lady with big grey hair, like Barbara Bush hair! She was old!!! It was disgusting! I was disgusted and amused at the same time. My aunt and I couldn't stop laughing, but I felt so grossed out at the same time. I didn't want to go to sleep because I didn't want to have nightmares about it.
Old woman, giant-after-having-had-so-many-babies, wrinkly boobs! WTF!!!
