I just have to say that I am not a fan of British TV News. While in Ibiza, we watched Sky News, a British News Channel, to keep up to date about what's going on in the outside world. It was so freaking annoying that I preferred to watch the Spanish news and try to figure things out with the little Spanish I know.
It was just ridiculous! They can't seem to ever leave the royal family alone! It's like get the hell over it! They had a story on some ugly fat dude saying he was Princess Di's lover. Seriously, she's been dead for 10 years...leave her alone! The worst was about the whole Prince Harry/Afghanistan debacle. They interviewed a mother and a daughter whose son/brother was in the same unit as Prince Harry. They seemed more excited about their son/brother being in a picture with Prince Harry than him fighting for their country. If I was in their shoes, I would be so worried about my son being in a freaking war that why the hell would I care about Prince Harry??!!
I know American news isn't great either (we can't seem to get over Britney...and who the hell is Milly Cyrus??!!), but for the most part, I seem to always get annoyed with British news. Their cool British accent doesn't even make up for it! It's like, there has to be something more serious in the world to report on! It's like that freaking interview with the lady who would not shut up about Heather Mills and her PT Cruiser!
